Great for gluten free options. One of the only Thai restaurants in this area of St. Pete that cater to those with gluten sensitivity. Thank you! And the yes, the food is very excellent and the service is very friendly.

Absolutely fresh, completely delicious, artistically created, friendly service, and reasonable prices. This is definitely one of our new go-to places! It's a little hidden gem! clean, tastefully decorated, and they serve beer, wine and sake. Do yourself a favor and try it! I highly recommend the tom kha soup. Amazing!!!!

Sushi was so good and fresh. Miso pup was large and delicious. Nice vibe and great service.

The food was EXCELLENT! I am not a sushi or Japanese foodie but I went with family and friends. The sushi was fresh and fast and reasonable. We had 6 rolls, veggies tempura, tom yummy soup, edamame, spring rolls, glass of wine, lemonade and hot tea all for $86!! There roll choices had something for everyone. They also have Thai that was also raved about. The service was excellent, the girls were very nice and polite and right there when you needed something. The atmosphere was also very nice everything was clean and the bathrooms were very clean (important with a cold). Highly recommend!

Okay pretty cute place! Above average sushi. They have high table tops as well as low ones. My favorite would be the spider roll and chicken roll. Spider was super crunchy crab and was very savory. Chicken roll is pretty self explanatory. It had a sweet brown sauce on it. The dessert was divine! Homemade cashew cream pastry with vanilla ice cream. It was so good that I had to get one to go! Would definitely come back and keep trying their sushi.

We've been coming to Rain as one of go to sushi spots for years. Their rolls are consistent in freshness and size. The owner is always there making the sushi. The service is always fast and friendly. It's a bit off the beaten path in a strip mall, but don't let that deter you from trying it out.

Came here for sushi and loved it! Loved the decor and seating. Felt cozy but clean. Our waitress was awesome! Super friendly and personable. I ordered the cheese rangoons (forgot to take a picture). Very good! Perfectly crisp and cheesy. For my rolls I ordered the Heck Yea Roll, which is fried sweet potato, eel, smoked salmon, cream cheese, scallions, cucumber, and avocado topped with teriyaki sauce and tempura chips. I also ordered the Spider Roll, which is fried soft shell crab, krab stick, roe, cucumber, and teriyaki sauce. Both rolls were great! Very fresh ingredients and rolled perfectly! Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend!

The sushi here is absolutely delicious! We have been back many times, and their main dishes are amazing as well. The prices are really good for their sushi, much cheaper than anywhere else in the area. A favorite of ours is the sweet potato roll. The service is good, and the place is never crowded. The decor is very nice as well and it is always very clean inside.

Rain is a wonderful, affordable place to get fresh sushi and Thai dishes. Some of my favorites are the Panang Curry, Pad Thai and the Funky Monkey roll - not fried. Tonight we celebrated my Mother in Law's birthday there and the 3 new people who ate there for the first time said they would be back! Don't be alarmed by the location in the strip mall. It's a few doors down from the original Carmelita's Mexican restaurant.

Don't be discouraged by the outside appearance of this place.... It is a treasure inside. We enjoyed sushi, yellow curry (that I still dream about) and delicious fried ice cream and cheesecake. Don't miss it!
